Requirements
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus in Water Resources
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic modeling (drainage, SWM, floodplain) with commonly used software
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) Exam preferred
- Design knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent organizational, coordination and communication skills, both written and verbal
Responsibilities
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and reporting
- Collect and Analyze data for mapping and reporting
- Design of open and closed drainage systems, stormwater management facilities and erosion and sediment controls
- Assist in the preparation of engineering documents (plans, reports, cost estimates and specifications) for Advertisement and Construction
- Obtain permit approvals from state and local agencies
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, project managers, supervisors, and other team members
