Environment Health and Safety Plant Specialist

Summary

Requirements

• Relevant university degree (i.e. Environmental Engineering)
• A short experience in the EHS team of a manufacturing company
• Italian CEFR level C2/Native, English CEFR level B2 or above

Responsibilities

• Assist the plant Senior EHS Specialist in developing and updating EHS policies, procedures, and training materials
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of the facility to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Support the investigation of incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
• Participate in safety training sessions and workshops for employees, promoting awareness and a safety culture
• Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, contributing to the preparation of reports for management review
• Help maintain safety records, documentation, and databases to ensure regulatory compliance
