ESG & CSR – SDG Specialist

Summary

Join Vosyn, a leading Language Synthesis AI firm, as an SDG Specialist Intern for a 3-month, 520-hour remote internship (with hybrid options in Toronto). You will play a crucial role in aligning Vosyn's operations with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), setting measurable targets, tracking progress, and reporting to stakeholders. This internship provides hands-on experience, collaboration with senior management, and valuable skills development. The ideal candidate possesses a Master's degree in a relevant field, experience in sustainability or SDG-focused roles, and strong analytical and communication skills. Requirements

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Master’s in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master’s program enrollment or completion is mandatory
• Experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or SDG-focused roles
• Deep understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and frameworks for sustainability reporting
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a proven ability to set and track measurable sustainability goals
• Proficiency in ESG reporting tools and platforms (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD)
• Passionate about sustainability and committed to driving meaningful change
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Mapping and Alignment: Identify and align Vosyn’s operations, projects, and initiatives with specific UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
• Target Setting: Develop clear, actionable, and measurable targets for achieving SDG- aligned outcomes across the organization
• Monitoring and Reporting: Track progress against SDG targets, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Strategy Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed SDG principles into business strategies, ensuring alignment with ESG and corporate goals
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with partners, industry groups, and regulatory bodies to promote Vosyn’s commitment to achieving the SDGs
• Research and Best Practices: Stay informed about global developments, emerging trends, and best practices in sustainability and SDG implementation
• Training and Advocacy: Educate internal teams about the importance of the SDGs and their integration into Vosyn’s business practices
