Executive Director, Creator, EVP

Summary

Join Golin Chicago as a freelance EVP, Executive Director, Creator for up to 10 hours per week. This role requires social-first conceptual thinking and digital/social platform expertise. You will collaborate with various teams to create relevant, strategically sound, and headline-worthy work. Responsibilities include communicating ideas to clients, identifying cultural trends, ideating campaign launches, and proactively suggesting new ideas. The ideal candidate possesses 7+ years of creative experience in advertising or social media, a strong understanding of earned-first campaigns, and experience targeting Hispanic Americans. Remote candidates are considered.

Requirements

• 7+ years’ creative experience in advertising or social
• Strong knowledge of how to build earned first campaigns that will spark attention
• Experience building campaigns and solid understanding of the target audience, Hispanic Americans
• Internet fluency. You know the ins and outs of social media, speak the language of the internet, have gone down YouTube rabbit holes for multiple hours in a row, have uploaded multiple TikTok videos and have explored without fear the inner depths of Reddit

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other creatives, strategists, media, digital and account teams to ensure our work is always relevant, strategically sound and headline worthy
• Communicate your ideas to the clients with clarity, strategic insight and passion
• Hunt for and share out with the rest of the team what’s breaking in culture before it breaks in culture
• Ideate campaign launch ideas for a spirits brand
• Proactive thinking. You’re always bringing ideas because you know not every opportunity lives within the brief
• Work with a strong creative team – designers, producers, editors – to ensure we’re creating thumb stopping content and heart stopping ideas

Benefits

• Hourly rate : $215/hour
