Join ServiceNow's Now on Now Creative team as an Executive Writer, Technology GTM Storytelling, and be part of a team that develops stories for senior executives. You will support senior-level IT executive narrative-building, write executive narratives and presentations, amplify transformational stories, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role involves shaping thought leadership, building executive communities, and leading projects in a fast-paced environment. You will leverage your passion for ServiceNow technology, understanding of IT organizations, and collaboration skills to influence revenue outcomes. This position offers a base pay of $177,100 - $310,000, plus equity, variable/incentive compensation, and benefits including health plans, a 401(k) plan, ESPP, and a flexible time away plan.
Requirements
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry
- 12+ years of relevant work experience in executive communications, thought leadership, storytelling, or strategic content development
- A proven track record in crafting high-impact narratives for C-level executives in enterprise technology, digital transformation, and technological advancements in the SaaS or tech industry
- A deep acumen of how IT organizations are run
- Experience in fast-paced, high-stakes environments where messaging directly influences revenue outcomes
- Leadership in high-visibility initiatives with expertise in storytelling and content creation
- Exceptional ability to translate technical and product innovations into impactful stories that resonate with C-level executives, IT decision-makers, and business leaders
- Expertise in developing executive presentations, keynote content, and presentation storytelling for global audiences, with a strong background in visual storytelling
- Experience leading cross-functional teams—including product, R&D, IT executives, marketing, sales, and communications professionals—to align on messaging strategy
- Ability to work closely with senior leadership and guide them in communicating the value of complex IT solutions in ways that resonate with diverse customer and industry stakeholders
- Strong investigative and journalistic instincts to uncover and shape compelling, real-world transformation stories that demonstrate technology’s business impact
- Strategic and cross-functional leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Support senior-level IT executive narrative-building: Develop storytelling narratives supporting senior technology leaders that position Now on Now digital transformation as a model for customers
- Write Executive Narratives: Create compelling narratives and presentations for executive and CIO audiences that align with Now on Now Technology priorities and product strategy while resonating with customers
- Amplify Transformational Stories: Discover and share transformational stories by: Developing stories for Executive Briefings
- Developing keynote presentations for global conferences and industry events
- Steering narrative development for customer engagements, board-level discussions, and analyst interactions
- Facilitating strategic storytelling sessions with leaders and practitioners to ensure authenticity and impact
- Collaborating with creative teams to enhance stories through visual storytelling, multimedia content, and digital experiences
- Visual storytelling - Leveraging deep experience in creating impactful stories using PowerPoint
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Influence and collaborate with teams across Customer Advocacy, the Transformation Office, Product, PR/Communications, Marketing, and Sales Enablement to ensure aligned and consistent messaging
- Shape Thought Leadership: Initiate and lead thought leadership initiatives using investigative storytelling to spark industry-leading conversations
- Executive Community Building: Build strong collaborations with leaders across the organization to create cohesive executive narratives
- Project Leadership: Operate in a fast-paced, executive-level environment, managing multiple high-visibility projects with strategic impact
