Join Tether and contribute to the expansion of its solutions and services in Guatemala, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Panama. As an Expansion Manager, you will identify and secure new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and navigate regulatory landscapes. You will collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement go-to-market strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of the Latin American financial ecosystem and a passion for financial inclusion and digital currencies. Occasional international travel is expected. The ideal candidate is a strategic and entrepreneurial leader with proven success in business development, market expansion, and partnership management. This is a fast-paced, ambiguous environment requiring a proactive and independent approach.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Guatamela, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Panama market and regulations in blockchain, fintech, remittances, and payments
- 5-7 years work experience in cross-border payments, remittances, cryptocurrency or payment infrastructures
- Fluent in English and Spanish, with a Business, Management, or Finance degree (MBA preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with partners, regulators, and stakeholders
- Proven experience in partnerships, KPI monitoring, and business growth
- Analytical, strategic, and results-driven with problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities in Guatamela, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Panama and the region
- Build strong relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders
- Develop strategic partnerships with financial institutions, fintech firms, payment providers, and government entities
- Design and implement go-to-market strategies to expand Tetherβs products and services
- Track and analyze KPIs to assess and optimize market strategies
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, threats, and growth opportunities
- Analyze USDt and fiat flows for data-driven decision-making
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their business impact
- Manage relationships with regulators, government agencies, and industry bodies
- Represent the company at key meetings and industry events
- Support and participate in fintech events, conferences, and meetups to enhance brand visibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial background and project management expertise is a plus
- Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments with international travel readiness
