Summary

Join Huge as an Experience Designer and play a crucial role in shaping user-centric digital products and campaigns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and presentation. Your passion for user experience, creative problem-solving, and industry awareness will be vital. You will design innovative solutions, conduct user research, and perform competitive analysis. Collaborate with designers and product managers to define product features and ensure quality. Present your work internally and occasionally to clients. This remote position is based in Colombia.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
  • 2+ year of proven experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio
  • Proficient in design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
  • Experience designing new, innovative layouts and designs that scale and flex across different platforms, including web, mobile, kiosks etc
  • A user centric design approach, as evidenced by considerations for accessibility, technology platforms, and contextual storytelling
  • Experience building products, developing component-based design systems and adapting brand guidelines to create scalable systems
  • Strong project management skills
  • If the selected candidate holds a degree in Engineering or a related profession, they must present their professional license

Responsibilities

  • Explore diverse solutions to UX problems with a focus on creating user-centric experiences
  • Emphasize the importance of prototyping, leveraging various approaches to bring designs to life
  • Clearly explain design decisions and work efficiently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Actively participate in user research, interviews, and testing to inform and validate design decisions
  • Create user personas, usability tests, and occasionally conduct user surveys
  • Conduct competitive and heuristic analysis, staying informed about industry trends
  • Utilize user analytics and codified measurements to inform layout and user flow
  • Support the definition of product feature sets, collaborating with designers and product managers
  • Support functional QA, identifying differences in animation and interactions
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the brand, generating considered and innovative concepts
  • Efficiently create UX deliverables and present work internally, occasionally contributing to client presentations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, CRM software)
  • Experience and understanding of content creation and design
  • Experience in the [specific industry, if applicable]
  • A passion for all aspects of design including conceptual thinking, typography, motion, copy, and imagery
