Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or any related IT field
  • 8+ years of experience in Hardware Services
  • Excellent command of both English & Arabic languages (writing, reading & conversation)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Good planning skills including contingency and system availability planning
  • Good experience in administration procedures
  • Good communication skills in both Arabic and English
  • Good follow up skills
  • Good Presentation skills and good reporting and documentations skills

Responsibilities

  • Create implementation plans, designs and generate detailed technical implementation report for each undertaken project
  • Generate design, implementation, disaster recovery, and other technical documents if required
  • Stay current on industry trends and new technologies and recommend future initiatives
  • Install new products and apply performance and security procedures
  • Supervise the migration of existing solutions and apply needed updates
  • Complete configuration and upgrading based on design and specifications of client proposals
  • Supervise the administration of systems and servers to ensure availability of services to authorized users
  • Complete integration and test the applications and systems
  • Maintain and submit accurate implementation reports, test reports, and other documents as required per project basis
  • Provide timely status reports to supervisors and project managers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues when contacted by clients by providing both on-site and remote support
  • Follow-up on major accounts in terms of technical support and proactive support service
  • Maintain applications, operating systems and perform various preventative maintenance tasks for clients
  • Provide hands on training to the customer “Knowledge Transfer”
  • Run Instructor led classroom training
  • Provide post-implementation consultation by analyzing operational needs and proposing technical solutions based on customer requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency of datacenter devices and system engineer Operation & Support such as EMC storages, Dell Server and Vxrails
  • Proficiency of Virtualization environment “VMware vSphere, ESXi and VSAN”
  • Good experience Backup system Operation & Support such as Veritas NetBackup, Avamar, VEEM, and networker
  • Installation/configuration/administration VMware Workspace ONE
  • Installation/configuration/administration VMware Tanzu
  • Good Experience in SAN storage and SAN switch Operation & Support
  • Good experience of DR operation and management
  • Good experience in Linux administration and support
  • Good experience in VMware high availability design and implementations
  • Good experience in Installing patches and perform system updates for storage, VMware and Linux for large amount of server and in bulk
