Fabrication Engineer

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in architectural fabrication or digital modeling, typically gained over 1-3 years
• Proficiency in Rhino 3D
• A strong ability to produce fabrication-level 3D models and clear 2D shop drawings
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive 3D parametric and static models at fabrication-level accuracy and tolerances
• Extract clear, accurate, and consistent 2D shop drawings directly from these models for client approval and internal fabrication
• Analyze data from architectural drawings and models, synthesizing it into actionable information
• Generate drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and other documentation to support timely and accurate material procurement
• Manage your project and production goals to consistently meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with custom or geometrically complex projects
• Basic parametric modeling skills in Grasshopper
• Familiarity with laser scanning and point cloud processing
