Summary

Join Delta, a global leader in power supplies and thermal management, as a Field Application Engineer in the Czech and Slovak markets. This role focuses on driving business growth by providing technical expertise and support to partners and customers. Key responsibilities include presales support, promoting Delta robotics and solutions, presenting new products, solving technical problems, supporting machine builders (including PLC programming), participating in training, conducting benchmarking analyses, and reporting on technology trends. The position requires a technical degree, 5+ years of industrial automation experience, CODESYS PLC programming skills, and experience with robotics and machine vision. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, along with fluency in Czech or Slovak and English (B2 level). Frequent travel within CZ/SK and occasional international travel is expected.

Requirements

  • Technical degree, preferably in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on industrial automation experience
  • Ability to program CODESYS based PLCs
  • Ability to build and support whole industry automation solution including VSDs, motion products and HMIs
  • Experience with robotics and machine vision is required
  • Czech or Slovak native speaker, English level B2 is required for frequent communication with our HQ in Helmond, Netherlands
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Frequent travel within the Czech Republic and Slovakia, with occasional travel to Helmond or other locations as required
  • Valid driving license is required

Responsibilities

  • Actively participating in approaching targeted accounts in the presale phase
  • Promote Delta robotics offerings and other Delta solutions
  • Present new products and solutions to current or potential customers
  • Support channel partners and customers with identifying and solving technical problems
  • Support high potential machine builders in complete conversions - PLC programming will be required time to time
  • Participate in training courses and actively communicate with our EMEA team based in Helmond NL
  • Conducting benchmarking analysis for IABG products and solutions whenever required
  • Reporting periodically on technology and feature trends related to IABG products and solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SCADA SW is a plus
  • General understanding of Industry Automation trends, main players and main challenges in the region is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with intercultural awareness
  • Excellent organization, planning, analytical, and presentation skills
