Summary

Join Rackspace Technology as a Field Marketing Specialist III and design, develop, and implement marketing programs and pricing strategies to support the organization's products and services. Collaborate with sales and technical teams to identify and implement marketing strategies and programs across various media. Translate account-based sales objectives into actionable go-to-market plans. Manage day-to-day requirements for demand generation programs and ensure account goals remain on track. Monitor and report program results. This remote position offers a hybrid option for candidates within 40 miles of the San Antonio office. Occasional domestic/international travel is required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or regional equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a field related to the role
  • A minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in the field of role required
  • Previous marketing experience in either of the following industries: public cloud, private cloud, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Edge Computing/Content Delivery Networks, or Enterprise I.T./Systems Integration
  • Experience with Hubspot
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with working closely with Sales
  • Intermediate knowledge of event planning, tactics, and management
  • Intermediate understanding of the overall media and measurement/analytics landscape, online advertising, and marketing trends
  • Intermediate understanding of Rackspace's strategic and competitive position

Responsibilities

  • Translates account-based sales objectives (both opportunity-based and relationship-based) to the demand and event marketing teams and partners to create the actionable cross-portfolio integrated go-to-market (GTM) marketing plans, strategies, programs, tailored messaging, and content that support driving pipeline and acceleration for targeted accounts and contacts
  • Manages day-to-day requirements to land demand generation and locally created marketing programs and readiness with sales
  • Drives market intelligence readiness, in partnership with segment marketing, for sales
  • Facilitates ongoing account check-ins with field sellers to ensure account goals remain on track and support forecast requirements, managing correction of errors and adjusting plans as necessary to support bookings
  • Monitors and reports results of programs and non-digital direct marketing activities
  • Other Incidental tasks related to the job, as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

At the manager’s discretion, additional relevant experience may substitute the degree requirement

Benefits

  • Work location: Remote in the U.S.A
  • Candidates who reside within 40 miles of our San Antonio office will work in a hybrid location: work from home three days a week and in the office two days a week
  • Occasional domestic/international travel, less than 50%
  • The anticipated starting pay range for Colorado is: $82,300 - $120,670
  • The anticipated starting pay range for the states of Hawaii and New York (not including NYC) is: $87,500 - $128,370
  • The anticipated starting pay range for California, New York City, and Washington is: $95,900 - $140,580
  • Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of a bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments
