Remote Field Security Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Field Security role at Atlan where the employee will act as a trusted advisor to customers' security teams, ensuring seamless onboarding of the Atlan platform. Requirements

• Security background: prior experience as a security practitioner
• Technical skillset: deep knowledge of cloud architectures and networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience working with Kubernetes applications from a security perspective
• Entrepreneurial mindset: desire to help us build a world class field security organization
• Customer facing: exceptional verbal, presentation, and written communication skills to collaborate with the security teams of our customers

Responsibilities

• Be the trusted advisor to our customers’ security teams in the world’s largest companies
• Ensure a seamless customer experience as they go through the process of onboarding the Atlan platform into their environment
• Partner with the Sales and CX teams to integrate our Field Security program into the customer journey
• Analyze customer data to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation plans
• Be the conduit to Atlan Product and Engineering on security insights from working with customer teams – make recommendations for security improvements and develop methods for ensuring compliance with customer security requirements
