Summary

Join PIPECARE EUROPE as a Field Technician and contribute to our success in the oil and gas industry. You will prepare and submit various reports, discuss equipment requirements, study project documents, and build professional client relationships. Responsibilities include executing field work safely and efficiently, coordinating activities with various parties, performing ILI runs, and conducting site surveys. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant) plus 3 years of operation planning experience, experience in the Oil and Gas sector with ILI exposure, and intermediate computer skills. Extensive travel and flexible hours are required. The role demands physical capabilities including lifting up to 50 pounds and mobility for working in refinery environments.

Requirements

  • Possess a Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant) plus 3 years of operation planning experience
  • Have experience in Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure
  • Have computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level
  • Be fluent in English language
  • Have the ability to travel extensively, including international trips
  • Have the ability to work flexible hours based on business and project needs
  • Have the ability to work either independently or within a team to ensure project success
  • Have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
  • Have sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively
  • Be able to maintain focus and multitask effectively
  • Be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments
  • Have sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, sign, and submit pigging, daily, express, and other relevant reports
  • Discuss equipment and tools requirements including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, tool box and all other required tools for use in the field, etc
  • Study and analyze the project information document, operation manuals, pigging procedures, and other project-related documents
  • Establish professional contact with the client’s field personnel, creating friendly working relations
  • Execute field work in a safe, effective, and efficient manner in accordance with PipeCare QA/QC procedures and in line with time, resource and financial planning
  • Coordinate field activities between PipeCare team, subcontractor, client and other involved parties
  • Perform ILI runs successfully without data loss as per POF & API standards
  • Conduct sufficient cleaning runs to the established PipeCare cleaning criteria
  • Conduct site survey and DGPs Survey in line with PipeCare procedures and operational requirements
  • Execute all other tasks as requested by the Team Leader within the assigned job role
