Join Tilt, the UK’s largest live shopping platform, as a Finance Analyst and play a crucial role in scaling our financial processes. You will be responsible for core financial processes, from month-end close to investor reporting, working closely with the Finance Lead and collaborating across various teams. This role offers deep exposure to a fast-scaling business and the chance to develop as a full-stack finance operator. In the first 3 months, you will focus on tasks such as reconciliation, journal entries, and assisting with month-end close. After 3 months, you will take on more responsibilities, including cash flow forecasting and budget updates. The ideal candidate possesses 1–3 years of experience in a finance role, is studying towards or has recently started CIMA/ACCA/ACA, and holds a relevant degree. Strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn are essential.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or FP&A role (startup or practice background welcome)
- Studying towards or recently started CIMA / ACCA / ACA
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field—with core modules in financial accounting
- Strong understanding of journal posting, trial balances, and accounting principles
- Familiarity with month-end reporting and/or preparing management accounts
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal hand-holding
- Excited to join a growing team and contribute to a finance function with high impact
Responsibilities
- Reconcile revenue, cost of sales, inventory, expenses, and balance sheet accounts
- Prepare journal entries, trial balances, and support preparation of financial statements
- Assist with month-end close : accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis
- Help maintain department-level budgets and spending visibility across the business
- Prepare documentation for VAT , payroll , R&D tax claims , and other filings
- Track and record accounts payable/receivable
- Contribute to equity operations: cap table review, option grants, EMI admin
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and long-term scenario planning
- Own monthly budget-vs-actuals updates for key teams
- Support investor reporting and compliance (e.g. Digital Platform Reporting, Companies House)
- Use spreadsheets—and potentially SQL or Python —to streamline and automate finance workflows
- Contribute to finance process improvements across reporting, controls, and tooling
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to equity topics (EMI schemes, options, cap tables)
- Some fluency or interest in SQL, Python , or other data tools
