Summary

The Finance and Operations Coordinator will help with general bookkeeping, fleet management, basic IT tasks, and other general operational items at World Relief, a global Christian humanitarian organization. The position requires a mature and personal Christian faith, a bachelor's degree or 2 years of equivalent work experience in bookkeeping and administrative duties, fluency in Microsoft software, strong verbal and written skills, and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and organize in a fast-paced environment.   • Bachelor's degree or 2 years equivalent work experience in bookkeeping and other administrative duties
  • Fluent in Microsoft software including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize in a fast paced and fluid environment

Responsibilities

  • Verify direct assistance requests, ensuring quality data is sent for disbursement, including compliance to direct assistance requirements by each grant and grant compliance
  • Create and provide direct assistance reports, including case-level reports
  • Create, maintain, and reconcile case numbers on the financial system
  • Proactively audit case ledgers to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Support program staff in troubleshooting direct assistance requests (status of request, missing, duplicated, etc.)
  • Oversee and implement all procedures for spending, revenue accounting and internal paper trails for proper accountability
  • Help to track technology in the Triad office
  • Work with Finance and Operations Director on setting up and decommissioning computers
  • Work with Finance and Operations Director on computer maintenance and resolving technical issues
  • Evaluating old equipment and what would be needed to either fix, sell or dispose of these items
  • Help to oversee proper usage of fuel cards and fuel card payments
  • Work with staff to verify proper documentation is needed regarding driving vehicles
  • Work with resource team on managing fleet maintenance needs
