Summary

Requirements

• Understanding of various aspects of financial and tax due diligence
• Expertise in executing financial due diligence, including financial and data analysis, and coordination across various stakeholders
• Ability to plan, manage, and execute financial due diligence plans in a timely manner
• Highly effective communication skills and excellent professional judgment
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a technical accounting role with M&A experience
• Experience with cross-border M&A transactions
• Prior experience in performing due diligence on service companies preferred
• Must be a CA/Chartered Accountant

Responsibilities

• Execute financial due diligence internally
• Identify risks and establish the scope of financial due diligence procedures
• Provide recommendations on transaction agreement terms based on diligence findings
• Assess and conclude on accounting issues
• Offer insights on cost synergies, quality of the target’s finance organization, and the internal control environment
• Document and communicate post-close considerations for controllership and broader CFO organization
• Identify any accounting implications of employment and retention agreements
• Operate in a team-oriented environment, collaborating on transactions and coordinating across functions as needed
