Requirements

• 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience (minimum of 2 at a Big 4 accounting firm)
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• CPA license required
• Experience working with publicly traded company companies is preferred
• Strong understanding/proficiency of technical accounting
• Experience with multi-national, multi-currency transactions and consolidations
• Experience in collaborating with remote colleagues and employees globally
• Must thrive in a rapid-paced and dynamic business environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to direct and supervise
• Ability to solve practical problems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key contributor to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Assist with the global consolidation of the company’s subsidiaries and preparation of consolidated financial statements
• Prepare and review month-end reconciliations including but not limited to, accrued expenses, software capitalization, prepaid expenses, payroll liabilities and lease liabilities
• Provide meaningful analysis for subsidiary and corporate level financial statements
• Assist finance team on numerous projects, including the implementation of new technologies, the financial statement audit, and process improvements
• Work with the operations department to ensure timeliness and accuracy of customer related operational matters
• Communicate with department leads to identify potential accruals and accounting issues
• Review journal entries prepared by finance associates
• Execute controls, including account reconciliations, and support inquiries from third-party auditors
• Prepare ad hoc reporting as needed
