Finance Associate

Summary

Join the Sui Foundation as a Finance Associate and play a crucial role in supporting the growth of the Sui blockchain ecosystem. You will oversee daily accounting and A/P operations, manage financial and regulatory filings, and supervise advisor engagements. This role requires collaboration with various departments and managing relationships with service providers. The ideal candidate is a highly organized problem-solver capable of handling both daily tasks and high-impact projects. Requirements

• 2 - 5 years of finance or accounting experience in assurance, consulting, fintech or crypto or venture capital environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
• Creative thinker with the ability to solve problems in ambiguous situations or with imperfect information
• Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations
• Ability to plan for accounting and tax implications of future operations and provide recommendations
• Outstanding organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good attitude
• Ability to work independently and on a team, asynchronously
• Proficient with ERP software, preferably NetSuite
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and working with large data sets

Responsibilities

• Support AP, operational accounting, and related processes
• Drive financial and regulatory filing initiatives (state and federal)
• Support relationships with key service providers
• Project manage advisor and vendor engagements
• Work cross-functionally on critical operational projects
• Improve and automate finance and ops processes
• Support finance and treasury reconciliations

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA
• Public Accounting experience
• Financial modeling experience
• SQL experience
