Summary

Join the DocPlanner team as a Financial Reporting Specialist and play a key role in supporting the evolution of financial reporting in a challenging and stimulating environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience in using SQL to derive actionable insights, either in commercial or academic setting (must have)
  • Knowledge of Python/R and desire to expand your knowledge
  • Experience with statistical modeling and descriptive statistics
  • Experience in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Experience in leading and executing end to end BI projects
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages such as German, Spanish, and Italian is a plus
  • Ability to gather, organize, analyze, and report large volumes of financial data with speed and accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to provide high-quality work efficiently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt and work in a quickly changing environment, managing competing demands

Responsibilities

  • Track key financial metrics and KPIs, ensuring they align with organizational goals
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial dashboards using advanced BI tools
  • Provide detailed insights into financial performance, trends, and variances
  • Provide insights for long-term strategic decisions
  • Ensure accurate and timely collection of financial data from systems like Oracle NetSuite
  • Integrate data from multiple sources for a unified financial view
  • Analyze profitability and cost efficiency to identify improvement areas
  • Support audits and for regulatory documentation
  • Automate repetitive financial tasks to improve efficiency
  • Implement process improvements to reduce manual efforts and errors
  • Utilize BI tools like Tableau for dynamic, interactive reports and dashboards
  • Enhance report quality and accessibility beyond traditional spreadsheets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics or a related field
  • Able to take a step back from the technicalities and examine them through a business lens
  • Open to cooperating with a lot of people from many teams in different countries
  • Like to see the instant effects of your work
  • Knowledge of ERP finance applications (Oracle, Oracle - NetSuite, SAP)
