Financial Accountant

Summary

Join Cielo as a Financial Accountant and contribute to the timely and accurate recording and reporting of financial information. Work closely with other members of the global finance and accounting organization to develop efficient processes. This remote position in Poland requires experience with the Polish tax system and involves responsibilities such as month-end close assistance, bank reconciliations, and financial statement audits. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or Finance
• Three or more years of relevant experience
• Fluent in Polish and English
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Specific requirements experience with polish tax system

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close, including preparation of journal entries
• Reconcile bank account activity monthly
• Post monthly prepaid asset journals and accruals as needed
• Perform monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
• Prepare and record intercompany debit and credit notes
• Perform reconciliation of trial balance to local books
• Reconcile monthly tax reports to the ledger for submission to government entities
• Maintain the fixed assets register
• Assist with recording AR payments received and collections
• Assist with financial statement audits as needed
• EMEA – Assisting with accounting in wider EMEA region

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Oracle NetSuite is preferred
