Summary
Join Openly's Finance team as a Financial (Risk) Analyst and play a significant role in assessing financial performance and building our risk framework and culture. This role reports to the VP, Reserving and Risk Management and is integral to Openly's continued success. Key responsibilities include assembling information for loss reserving analysis, building and maintaining loss reserving models, supporting risk management framework development, collaborating with business partners to identify enterprise risks, and building relationships with stakeholders. You will perform ad hoc analyses and support efforts in obtaining BCAR and S&P ERM Level III Accreditation. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 1+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Python and MS Suite/Google Workspace, and excellent communication skills. A Master's degree and CERA certification are preferred.

Responsibilities
- Assemble information from internal and external source for loss reserving analysis and risk horizoning and benchmarking
- Build, maintain and improve loss reserving models
- Support the development of a risk-management framework and nurture risk-aware culture at Openly
- Collaborate with business partners to identify key enterprise risks and develop control framework to be implemented by various internal stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and manage various reporting and meeting requirements to remain in compliance
- Perform ad hoc sensitivity analysis and stochastic modeling in support of risk assessment, liquidity planning, economic capital requirements, etc
- Support the effort in obtaining Best's Capital Adequacy Ratio (BCAR) and S&P Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Level III Accreditation
