This full-time (or part-time/fractional) remote internship (with hybrid options in Toronto and Chicago) offers a minimum of 520 hours (3 months) at CAD $32-35/hour. You will develop and maintain complex financial models, analyze financial data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare financial reports. The internship provides invaluable experience in a high-growth environment, direct interaction with senior management, and contributes to transformative financial strategies. Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s level university program in fields such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling techniques and tools, including Excel and financial software
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Proficient communication in English (both verbal and written) is required

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and decision-making processes
• Analyze financial data and create projections for various business scenarios
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions used in financial models
• Support the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders
• Evaluate the financial performance of existing projects and investments, providing insights into profitability and risk
• Assist in the development of valuation models for potential investments and M&A activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial analysis, forecasting, and valuation is a plus
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
