Summary

Join Wealthsimple's high-performing Financial Planning team as a Financial Planner, supporting Premium and Generation clients with their financial planning needs. You will advise clients on achieving their financial goals, assist with asset consolidation, and help them make informed financial decisions. This role involves working with a high volume of clients, utilizing technology, and collaborating cross-functionally. You will challenge the status quo of the wealth management industry, providing high-quality financial planning services. The position requires a CFP designation, 4+ years of experience, and a strong track record of meeting targets. • Have 4 years + of experience providing financial planning to clients
• Have a strong track record of owning your KPIS and hitting targets
• Possess superb communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support Premium and Generation clients with their financial planning needs
• Advise existing and prospective clients on taking ideal steps with Wealthsimple to reach their financial goals
• Assist with asset consolidation
• Work with 40+ clients a week helping them plan and make the right financial decisions, with minimal time spent on non-advice activities
• Maintain strong follow up so clients can actually experience the benefits of financial planning
• Help clients consolidate their assets at Wealthsimple through impactful advice
• Be on the front lines talking to prospective and current clients, getting them excited about how we can help them achieve their goals
• Communicate most of the time via phone and video with clients
• Work cross functionally to bring financial planning advice into our products and communications

Preferred Qualifications

• Be Bilingual (French speaking)
• Possess a passion and energy for financial planning and investing and share this with clients
• Always strive to know more, grow in your role, and master your craft
• Embrace technology and the role it plays in financial services
