The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strong financial modeling skills, advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity or strategy consulting
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets; experience with financial planning tools is a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable distilling complex analyses into clear insights
  • Detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and highly organized with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Lead annual budgeting and regular re-forecasting processes in collaboration with department leads; maintain financial models and ensure alignment with company strategy
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance reports, including variance analysis and KPI tracking; deliver insights to senior leadership to support strategic decisions
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Work cross-functionally with teams (e.g., Clinical Ops, People, Tech, Growth) to evaluate business performance, assess financial impact of new initiatives (e.g., provider capacity optimization, patient engagement levers, RCM improvements), and optimize resource allocation
  • Scenario Modeling: Support growth planning and operational decision-making through dynamic scenario and sensitivity analyses (e.g., market expansion, hiring plans including provider capacity and demand planning, unit economics)
  • Systems & Tools: Help implement and improve financial systems, dashboards, and processes to enhance forecasting accuracy and team efficiency
  • Board & Investor Materials: Support the preparation of financial content for board meetings, investor updates, and other stakeholder communications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare - especially provider organizations - or in startups/ mission-driven environments is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus
