Summary

Join ChowNow as the FP&A Manager and play a critical role in the finance team. You will own the company's financial model, create detailed forecasts, and assess financial performance. Collaborate with the CFO and other departments to develop annual budgets and track performance. Identify opportunities for expansion and build business cases for new investments. Prepare reports and presentations for the Board of Directors and senior management. This remote role, based in the US, reports to the Senior Director of FP&A and has no direct reports. ChowNow prioritizes restaurants, diversity, and initiative. Success involves mastering the financial model, providing regular updates, and conducting budget reviews within the first 90 days.

Requirements

  • Have 5+ years experience in a combination of Financial Planning & Analysis, investment banking, private equity investing or similar role
  • Possess advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Able to build three- statement financial model
  • Have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive solutions proactively while working with minimal direction
  • Are comfortable in a fast-paced, scrappy work environment and you’re not afraid to ask probing questions
  • Have a high attention to detail as deliverables will often be presented to senior management where accuracy is essential
  • Have strong presentation skills as you will be required to communicate complex information in a simplified manner
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with employees of all levels
  • Have a proven ability to make data-informed decisions and thrive in a dynamic environment under short timelines with changing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Own the Company’s financial model and create detailed forecasts of ChowNow’s future operations
  • Assess and track ChowNow’s financial performance and overall financial health, analyzing financial and operational metrics in order to identify key strategic and operational opportunities across the business
  • Partner with the CFO, Sr. Director of FP&A and individual departments to develop annual budgets and track Company and departmental performance against the budget
  • Implement, own, maintain and run an FP&A planning tool
  • Help ChowNow’s growth by identifying opportunities for expansion and working across departments to build business cases for new investments and products
  • Work with the Sr. Director of FP&A to build reporting packages and presentations for the Board of Directors, senior management and investors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have a background in B2B SaaS is preferred but not required
  • Have experience managing and operating an FP&A planning software for SMBs is a plus
