Join Experian's FP&A Team in Costa Rica as a Team Lead, managing a local team and supporting cost management for the Commercial Finance organization. You will report to the Sr Manager - Cost and lead a team of 3β6 individuals, overseeing daily tasks and setting performance indicators. Responsibilities include managing cost forecasts, collaborating with senior finance leaders, overseeing FP&A processes, promoting collaboration with other teams, and driving continuous improvement in revenue analysis and reporting. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 8+ years of progressive finance experience, and advanced English proficiency. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including month-end processes, forecasting, reporting modeling, GL and budget management. Experienced in supporting finance professionals with customer service skills
- Experience in financial reporting, account reconciliation, working in large datasets, and P&L analysis with knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience communicating analytical findings for a range of different audiences being able to work with all organizational levels, including senior leaders
- Advanced English level and proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions) and familiar with financial systems and tools such as Oracle, OBIEE, Tableau, Salesforce, Hyperion Planning/Essbase and SmartView
- Availability to support US Pacific Time zone business hours
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a Costa Rica-based FP&A team of 3β6 individuals, overseeing daily deliverables, setting performance indicators, and ensuring agreement on our goals in cost planning, tracking, and reporting
- Manage and deliver accurate cost forecasts and analysis to support strategic decision-making, while contributing to ad hoc projects aimed at improving cost structures and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with senior finance leaders to align cost strategies with our goals, reporting directly to the Costa Rica FP&A Senior Manager
- Oversee main FP&A processes with a focus on revenue, including month-end close, monthly forecasting, and partnering with the Commercial Finance Manager on annual budgeting and long-range planning. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support
- Promote collaboration with leaders in product, sales, strategic pricing, billing, and other teams to evaluate business opportunities and enhance revenue forecasting and reporting accuracy
- Promote continuous improvement in revenue analysis and reporting processes, standardize financial models, and use tools like Salesforce and Tableau to enhance insights and forecasting accuracy
