Summary
Join SpryPoint, a leading provider of cloud-based solutions for the utility sector, as a Project Management Office (PMO) leader. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4-8 Project Managers, setting clear expectations and driving high performance. You will also directly manage select strategic client implementations. This role requires 8-10 years of enterprise project management experience with proven SaaS implementation success and 4-6 years managing and developing Project Managers. Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years of enterprise project management experience with proven SaaS implementation success
- Minimum 4-6 years directly managing and developing Project Managers or senior project team members
- Post-secondary degree in project management, business administration, or related field
- Experience with performance management, team scaling, and establishing standards in fast-growing organizations
- Deep expertise in traditional and agile project management methodologies
- Proven financial acumen with project budget management and revenue forecasting experience
- Experience with enterprise SaaS implementations, preferably in utilities or regulated industries
- Proficiency with project management tools (Kantata preferred), Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Exceptional ability to coach, mentor, and develop Project Managers into high-performing professionals
- Comfortable setting high expectations and holding team members accountable for results
- Proven ability to motivate teams and manage performance issues constructively
- Deep methodology knowledge with the ability to teach and enforce best practices
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with proactive risk identification and mitigation
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities across all organizational levels
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence without authority

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4-8 Project Managers, setting clear expectations and holding them accountable for exceptional delivery
- Recruit, hire, and onboard top PM talent; conduct performance reviews and manage performance improvement processes
- Establish and enforce rigorous project management standards in partnership with the Centre of Excellence PMO
- Ensure consistent application of SpryPoint's hybrid implementation methodology across all projects
- Oversee team capacity planning and resource allocation across multiple concurrent enterprise projects
- Foster a collaborative culture focused on knowledge sharing, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Personally manage select complex client implementations
- Serve as an escalation point for challenging project situations
- Act as a trusted advisor to key clients on business process changes and system adoption
- Model the behaviours and delivery excellence expected from your team
- Assist in managing the change order process, ensuring timely approvals and clear communication with clients and internal teams
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CAPM, or comparable certification (or in progress) is an asset
- Familiarity with the utilities industry and Management Information Systems (CIS, WAMS, MWM, GIS) preferred
