FinOps Analyst I

Summary

Join Pathward, a hybrid, remote-office financial empowerment company, and become a key member of our team. Work with partners to create funds flow and new account setups, and establish ongoing reconciliation processes. Reconcile DDA account activity, escalate issues, create manual money movement entries, and facilitate the refund check process. You will also maintain accounts, understand funding flow processes, and work with clients and processors to ensure program compliance with bank requirements. Analyze account activity, identify and resolve outstanding issues, and follow approved procedures for opening and closing accounts. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Typically requires less than one year of related experience

Responsibilities

• Work with partners on creation of funds flow and new account set-up as well as establishing the ongoing reconciliation process
• Reconcile all DDA account activity and escalate identified issues for resolution
• Create entries for manual money movement between accounts, facilitate refund check process and overall account maintenance
• Understands the funding flow process
• Works with new and existing clients and processors to ensure programs conform to bank requirements regarding processing, funding, functionality, settlement, and reporting
• Opens and maintains bank and client owned accounts
• Analyzes account activity and reconcile accounts by utilizing processor and internally generated reports
• Identify outstanding account issues and research to determine the cause and appropriate resolution process
• Follows approved process and procedures of opening/closing DDA accounts
• Works the refund check and wind down process
• Other duties as assigned
