Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a lawyer with a focus on fintech or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of contract and commercial law
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a fintech or technology-driven company
  • Familiarity with international fintech regulations
  • Fluent English and russian

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including service agreements, white label agreements, licensing agreements, partnership agreements, and customer agreements, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant fintech regulations and laws, and ensure that all fintech products and services comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and assess legal risks associated with fintech initiatives and provide strategic advice to mitigate these risks
  • Assist in resolving legal disputes and regulatory issues related to business operations, including managing external legal counsel when necessary
  • Maintain and organise legal documents, contracts, and records related to fintech operations
  • Conduct research on emerging fintech trends, regulatory changes, and legal precedents to provide proactive legal advice
