Food Data Curator

Summary

The job involves researching, correcting, and categorizing food data for MyFitnessPal to improve user experience. The contract is valid through 2024 with a possibility of extension. Requirements

• Native German speaker, currently living in Germany is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Food Science, or related field
• At least 1 year of experience working with nutrition analysis software
• Experience in navigating verified food data systems like FoodData Central

Responsibilities

• Verify food data for accuracy and completeness
• Categorize and tag foods within our food taxonomy system
• Improve the process of food curation by providing feedback
• Manage food data in our database
• Assist with product and marketing content development and recipe analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (or German equivalent)
• Knowledge of food preparation/cooking, recipe creation, recipe analysis
