Forester

Summary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and system management skills
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in GIS considered a significant advantage
• Comfortable working in a remote environment and independently

Responsibilities

• Assist landowners in understanding their forestry management options and provide tailored practice and program recommendations to achieve their land goals
• Conduct research on private, federal, and state programs and maintain an up-to-date database of opportunities and threats to support landowners and organizational needs
• Partner with the engineering team to design and implement new tools that enhance landowner capabilities in managing their forested properties
