Forward Deployed Engineer, Remote - United States

Summary

This is a fully remote position with occasional travel requirements at Luxor, a global leader in Bitcoin mining solutions. The role involves hands-on technical work and customer interaction to optimize Luxor's Firmware product.

Requirements

• Passion for customer service and iteration, with the ability to liaise between external customers and internal engineering and product teams
• In-depth knowledge of firmware technologies
• Proficiency in Python and bash scripting, with experience in navigating Linux terminals
• Skill in VPN configuration for remote access and installation
• Interest and experience in Bitcoin mining hardware, particularly ASICs and troubleshooting
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to customers
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation related to firmware installation, feature sets, and troubleshooting
• Engage with Luxor's APIs to meet client-defined technical requirements
• Implement and optimize LuxOS across mining fleets, offering specialized knowledge around product features
• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and resolve technical issues
• Conduct firmware installations and optimizations remotely and through on-site deployments
