Founding Engineer

Join Career Renew in recruiting for a Founding Engineer - Blockchain position, a fully remote role for candidates within the UTC to UTC+8 time zones. This role involves building the first abstraction layer to aggregate and unify economic security across shared security protocols, simplifying the process for AVS developers and node operators. As a Founding Engineer, you'll be crucial in shaping the company's technology, product, and culture. You will architect, build, and deploy core infrastructure and applications, working across the stack and owning features end-to-end. The ideal candidate will have significant experience and expertise in blockchain technology and software engineering.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Go
• Experience with cosmos-sdk
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years experience as a software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, build and deploy core infrastructure and applications
• Work across the stack, from Solidity smart contracts to Golang backend services to DevOps and cloud infrastructure
• Own features end-to-end, from design to implementation and production monitoring
• Collaborate closely with the CTO & founding team on strategic technical decisions
• Set best practices for security, scalability and maintainability
• Help build and scale a world-class engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Solidity & EVM
• Prior experience at an early-stage startup or building products from scratch
