FP&A P&L Production Analyst

Join Arena's team as a Financial Analyst and contribute to the financial reporting of the AI and AIS Business Units. You will produce monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reports using PowerBI and Excel. Responsibilities include data extraction, cleansing, and ensuring data integrity. Collaboration with various teams is crucial for seamless integration into the corporate accounting close process. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree from a top university in a quantitative field, 2-5 years of analytical experience with financial reporting, and superior Excel and PowerBI skills. A strong understanding of data modeling and attention to detail are essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a top university, ideally in a quantitative area (e.g., finance, economics, accounting, IT)
• 2-5 years work experience in an analytical role with emphasis on financial reporting
• Superior Excel based financial modeling skills with large / complex data sets, including advanced spreadsheet development, automated sensitivity analysis, Visual Basic and charting
• Superior PowerBI and data warehousing skill sets, including aptitude to build PowerBI dashboards
• Strong understanding of data modeling sufficient to quickly grasp the structure of Arena data sets
• Strong attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in remote location from other team members
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to work collaboratively across the organization
• The highest level of personal integrity and ethical standards

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly, quarterly and Annual P&L reports for Arena’s AI and AIS Business Units using the proprietary PowerBI based application and Excel reporting shell
• Extract and cleanse data from Arena’s systems to ensure accuracy of the BU P&Ls
• Work with the Strategy and FP&A team and other parts of the organization in data integrity initiatives
• Will work closely with the Strategy and FP&A and Corporate Accounting teams to ensure the smooth integration of BU P&Ls into the month Corporate Accounting close process

Preferred Qualifications

Accounting background is a plus but not essential
