Summary

The job is for a Platforms FPGA Developer at Ulvetanna, a high-performance cryptography startup. The role involves working on next-generation FPGA platforms to revolutionize ZKP acceleration and taking care of PCIe, Network, HBM, and other FPGA peripherals. Requirements

• Clear communicator and dedicated team player
• Experience in handling ambiguity, working in a fully remote startup setting
• Experienced in performance optimization and hardware design
• Already have some knowledge and interest in the ZKP space
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent field of study
• Experienced and well-versed in SystemVerilog
• Experience in the majority of the following areas: Hardware Architecture, RTL Coding, Simulation, Systems Integration, Hardware Validation and Testing, FPGA Synthesis, and Static Timing Analysis
• Xilinx US+ PCIe/QDMA and Aurora/100GbE subsystems expertise
• Sound understanding of technology tradeoffs and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work on the next-generation FPGA platforms to revolutionize ZKP acceleration
• Take care of PCIe, Network, HBM and other FPGA peripherals
• Work closely with engineering managers to deploy FPGA products across Ulvetanna’s data centers

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and interest in the ZKP space
• Experienced and well-versed in Linux, Python, C, Tcl, and bash
• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent field of study
• HLS flow
• HW CI/CD flow experience
• Cocotb simulation framework experience
• Embedded Processors (ARM, RiscV) experience
• GPU or ASIC design experience
• Experience with Xilinx ACAP chips
• High Speed Communication Interfaces and protocols (SerDes, Xilinx Aurora, Ethernet) experience
• AXI-4 Stream protocol expertise
• Xilinx DSP and HBM primitives expertise
