Requirements

  • 5-8 years in progressively senior fraud prevention roles, including management
  • Expertise in data analytics, digital tools and technology platforms relevant to fraud prevention; strong technical skills are an asset, such as the ability to write queries, effectively use AI tools, etc
  • Proven track record of success building and running effective fraud prevention programs
  • Payment and fraud prevention experience in the tech/software industry, ideally in a SaaS environment
  • Professional certifications or equivalent education in fraud prevention, anti-financial crime, compliance and risk management

Responsibilities

  • Lead the company-wide fraud prevention strategy
  • Work closely with the Payments, Security, IT, Onboarding/Sign-up and Compliance teams on mechanisms to safeguard Jane against loss events
  • Drive program development as a leader and subject matter expert
  • Design alerts/key risk indicators
  • Monitor for suspicious activity
  • Create and deliver training and awareness initiatives to aid in fraud prevention
  • Track trends on fraud and financial crime
  • Complete risk assessments
  • Design operational metrics for tracking and reporting trends and year-over-year progress
  • Develop and implement ongoing program improvements

Benefits

  • This role has an annual salary range of $122,000 to $190,500
  • Most new hires join at the accomplished stage, which for this role represents an annual salary of $152,400
