Summary

The job is for experienced book translators to work with authors in translating books from English into various languages. They will be part of a vetted group at Reedsy who have worked on acclaimed novels. The required language pairs are English > German, English > Italian, English > French, English > Spanish, and English > Portuguese.

Requirements

• 3+ years of translating experience
• At least 5 published books that are well-reviewed (and available on Amazon, Apple Books or Google Books) for each of the language pairs your offer

Responsibilities

Work directly with authors to help them translate their books into different languages

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for a traditional publisher will be positively valued
• Ability to copy-edit/proofread your translations or work in tandem with a partner who can do it
