Freelance English Annotator

Summary

Join DataForce by TransPerfect as a freelance English (US) Annotator for an innovative AI project! This remote, flexible position (approx. 20 hours/week) runs for approximately 3 weeks starting in March 2025. You will listen to short audio recordings and create detailed descriptions of speech attributes (voice characteristics, tone, speed, etc.). Idiomatic fluency in US English, excellent writing skills, and attention to detail are essential. Familiarity with annotation/transcription tools is preferred.

Requirements

• Idiomatic fluency in English (US)
• Excellent writing and spelling/grammar skills in English
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
• Ability to follow detailed project guidelines
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver error-free work
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Listen to short English audio recordings
• Generate detailed, accurate, and creative descriptions of human speech attributes (such as voice characteristics, delivery style-tone, speed, intonation, pace, pronunciation, apparent gender, age range, or accent, etc.)
