French Language Interpreter

Summary

Join our team as a Language Interpreter (English & French) in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, or Cambodia for a 12-month contract (renewable). You will facilitate communication between parties speaking different languages, primarily interpreting live calls in various sectors like healthcare, government, and emergency services. The role involves working from home, requiring a quiet and secure environment. The schedule includes rotating shifts, including nights, with two rotating days off per week and work on public holidays. Compensation includes an hourly rate (minimum RM4800 monthly), SOCSO, EPF, OT pay, paid sick leave, annual leave, and public holidays. A 3-week paid training period is provided.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (Read & Speak & Write)
• Fluent in Native Language (Read & Write & Speak)
• Must be working from home
• Own Mobile phone with Android 12 and above or IOS 15 and above
• Must be willing to work rotating shift for 9 hours anytime following the required schedule by the client within 24 hours (Night Shift)
• They will be entitled to 2 days off in a week which will be rotating any day
• Must be willing to work on public holidays as the operation is 24/7

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between parties who speak different languages
• Accurately interpret conversations between callers (native language) and operators (English)
• Convey messages in the caller's preferred language, ensuring mutual understanding
• Work from a quiet and secure home office environment
• Handle calls involving simple or complex, technical or non-technical subjects across various sectors
