Remote Front End Engineer

Summary

RYZ Labs is hiring a remote Front End Engineer for their Latin American team to collaborate on software design, development, and deployment using modern React and TypeScript. The engineer will work with UI/UX designers, software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists in various ecosystems. Requirements include strong knowledge of core web technologies, ability to maintain large Single-Page Applications, and experience with project management software.

Requirements

• A strong knowledge of modern React using TypeScript
• Familiarity with modern Angular
• A strong foundation in core web technologies (HTML, CSS, javascript with the DOM)
• Ability to maintain and debug a large Single-Page Application
• Ability to write unit tests as well as to structure code in a way that makes testing easier
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (git)
• Experience with Project management software (Jira, Linear, etc.) and the agile workflow

Responsibilities

Collaborate with UI/UX designers, software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists to craft specialty web apps, APIs, and more

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS
• Experience working with and maintaining an API in Python
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and how to deploy them to the cloud
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of both Relational Databases as well as NoSQL data stores
