Frontend Developer

Summary

Join airSlate's Mobile Web Team and contribute to the development and maintenance of high-performance frontend features for the pdfFiller editor. The team is responsible for delivering a seamless document editing experience on mobile web devices, focusing on phones. You will implement new features using React, Redux, and WebSockets, ensuring smooth user experiences. Collaborate with backend engineers, QA, product managers, and designers. Optimize frontend performance and contribute to architectural decisions. Participate in agile processes and continuous delivery, and continuously learn and share knowledge within the team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of JS or TS programming experience
• Experience with React, Redux (thunk, saga)
• Familiarity with Git
• Good understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, npm/yarn, etc
• Experience with WebSockets
• Experience with unit testing

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain High-Performance Frontend Features
• Implement new features and enhancements for the pdfFiller editor using React, Redux, and WebSockets, ensuring smooth and responsive user experiences across web and mobile platforms
• Ensure Code Quality and Maintainability
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Contribute to code reviews and enforce best practices to maintain high code quality, test coverage, and performance
• Collaborate Across Disciplines
• Work closely with backend engineers, QA, product managers, and designers to deliver features from concept to production, ensuring alignment with business and user goals
• Contribute to Technical Excellence
• Optimize frontend performance, contribute to architectural decisions, and help scale the editor to support millions of users globally
• Participate in Agile Processes and Continuous Delivery
• Take part in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Contribute to planning, estimation, and iterative delivery of features, ensuring timely and reliable deployments
• Continuously Learn and Share Knowledge
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies
• Mentor less experienced teammates and actively participate in knowledge sharing within the team and across the unit
