Front-End Developer

Summary

Join Apex Logic, a company specializing in government procurement software, as a Front-End Developer to contribute to the Symphony Procurement Suite product development team. You will be responsible for developing new features, improving existing applications, writing efficient and maintainable code, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring high-quality software. This role requires extensive experience in Front-End development, particularly with Angular, HTML, Typescript, CSS, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience with NgRx state management, RxJS, AG Grid, Git, code reviews, and testing frameworks. Requirements

• 5+ years Front-End development experience
• 2+ years experience with Angular
• HTML, Typescript, and CSS experience
• Experience with NgRx state management and using actions/reducers/selectors
• RxJS experience using observables and operators
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews and pull requests
• Knowledge of web-based services, database interaction, software architectures, languages, and tools
• Familiarity with 508 compliance
• Experience with Unit/E2E testing and Cypress testing framework
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must comply with all “drug free workplace” requirements as mandated by directives issued by the appropriate federal contracting officer and the company, which requires drug testing for use of illegal drugs by employees in sensitive positions
• Must be able pass Moderate Public Trust, US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Develop new Front-End features and make improvements to existing applications
• Write Angular code that can nest within a Java project
• Write efficient, maintainable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code
• Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate issues with front-end code
• Provide code performance analysis and optimizing the existing code base
• Fix bugs and work with the QA team to ensure software is high quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AG Grid (nice to have)
• Previous Front-End Angular development on SAAS products
