Front-End Developer, Remote - Poland

Summary

The job is for a Front-End Developer with Shopify expertise to develop, maintain, and enhance Shopify online stores, perform API integrations, and customize store designs using Liquid. The candidate should have 2-3 years of professional experience in Shopify development, fluent English skills, and a strong understanding of front-end development, HTML, and Shopify's templating language.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of professional experience in Shopify development
• Fluent written and spoken English (C1-C2)
• Proactive and experienced in front-end development, with a strong understanding of design and user experience principles
• In-depth knowledge of HTML and familiarity with Shopify's templating language
• Ability to work with Shopify APIs and integrate various third-party solutions
• Familiarity with Liquid and experience in leveraging outside integrations and solutions
• Capable of working independently without the need for extensive technical mentoring
• Excellent communication skills to effectively translate client requirements into technical solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend Shopify features using HTML
• Maintain and develop 6 existing Shopify online stores, as well as future additional stores
• Perform Shopify API integrations to connect the stores with external systems
• Work with Shopify's templating language, Liquid, to customize store designs and functionality
• Integrate Shopify with external solutions like payment gateways, CRMs, and shipping providers
• Participate in architecture brainstorming sessions to plan new Shopify store features and integrations

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to visit the office in Poland (Warsaw) several times a week
• Good sense of humor 😊
