Frontend Developer

Summary

Join WRS Health, a leading provider of cloud-based EMR and practice management solutions, as a talented Front End Developer. You will play a key role in updating and customizing our website using ReactJS and HubSpot, collaborating with marketing and ensuring optimal user experience and performance. This position requires strong expertise in ReactJS, JavaScript frameworks, and WordPress development. You will work within a scrum framework, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver functional applications. The role demands excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This is a full-time remote position offering flexible hours.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Front End Developer
• Strong expertise in ReactJS and JavaScript frameworks
• Background in WordPress development and customization
• Strong skills in front-end development, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with popular page builders like Elementor
• Knowledge of current SEO techniques and how to implement them within WordPress
• Familiarity with tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or Lighthouse for performance analysis and optimization
• Familiarity with git platforms like GitHub and GitLab
• Experience with JIRA for project management
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development and marketing team to integrate engaging content into the website using ReactJS
• Ensure that the website design aligns with user experience requirements and is consistent with UX guidelines
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, writing reusable code and libraries to streamline development
• Optimize the website for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring efficient performance across all devices and browsers
• Work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure websites meet business goals and brand standards
• Lead and provide guidance on the integration of Hubspot to existing Wordpress websites
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical recommendations for new projects
• Work within a multidisciplinary team, including back-end developers and web designers, to deliver cohesive and functional applications
• Validate all user input before submission to the back end, maintaining high standards of code quality
• Document processes, coding practices, and custom development work to ensure knowledge transfer within the team
• Provide training and support to non-technical staff on how to use WordPress effectively
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, continuously improving and updating skills to bring innovative solutions to the team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HubL, Jinjava and Jinja is highly preferred
• Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager configuration is a plus
