Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join BlaBlaCar's Discover squad as a Confirmed Frontend Engineer and contribute to enhancing landing pages for carpool, bus, and train trips. Your role involves designing and delivering new features, tackling SEO and web performance optimization challenges, and building the in-house CMS. You will work with a team of engineers and a product manager, reporting to the Engineering Manager. The position requires proficiency in Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, and experience with developer tools. Requirements

• Proficiency in Typescript, HTML5, CSS3
• Hands-on experience with developer tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring solutions (Datadog)
• Full working proficiency in English

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical discoveries to find the most relevant solutions considering our business priorities
• Launch new features while keeping a high-quality codebase
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Interact with people with different roles and backgrounds and sharing your technical expertise with a mix of technical, product and business experts
• Proactively participate in your team’s processes and product decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in React Native
• Experience with SEO and web performance optimization
