Summary
Join DoiT as a Frontend Engineer and play a key role in building the user-facing components of PerfectScaleโs platform. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user experiences. Shape the product, influence architectural decisions, and ensure a seamless interface between users and backend systems. This remote position, based in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, Netherlands, Sweden, or Spain (or as a contractor in East Europe and Portugal), offers the opportunity to work on a pioneering Kubernetes optimization and management solution. You will be involved in implementing features, writing clean and maintainable code, improving the codebase, and providing feedback to the team. Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with React.js in production environments
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Experience with TypeScript in large-scale applications
- Experience writing comprehensive E2E tests
- Proficient in building responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, Vite, NPM, Yarn, etc
- Experience developing and integrating with RESTful APIs
- Experience developing enterprise-grade SaaS products, micro frontends, and working with component-based architectures
- Proactive, can-do approach with strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
- Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough, and tenacious
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, devops, backend and frontend engineers to deliver elegant and well thought out solutions for complex problems
- Implementing features . From the proposal through design and implementation to maintenance. You're expected to propose things that you think can be an excellent addition to the products
- Write clean and maintainable code using engineering best practices, you will also ensure clean code and best practices while performing code reviews for your peers
- Improving the health of the codebase . Weโre mindful of accumulating technical debt. We dedicate one day per week to housekeeping
- Providing feedback . The team plans and discusses the upcoming work. We provide feedback to each other, trying to find challenges and unknowns as early as possible
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on, production experience with Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience building systems in a cloud environment (especially AWS)
- Hands-on experience with backend technologies like Golang, Python, and Node.js
- Familiarity with modern DevOps frameworks and best practices โ Docker, K8S, GitOps, CI/CD
