Remote Front-End Engineer

Summary

Soroco is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to develop user interfaces for enterprise software applications using modern JavaScript frameworks. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and maintaining code quality and maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in frontend development
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Typescript/JavaScript
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 16+, React or Vue.js
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features for enterprise software applications using HTML, CSS, and Typescript/JavaScript and cutting-edge frameworks in market like Angular, React
• Work closely with product managers & UX/UI designers to translate requirements, figmas, mockups into interactive user interfaces
• Implement best practices for frontend development, ensuring compatibility across different browsers and devices
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logics
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability
• Stay informed about emerging frontend technologies and trends, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our products

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-scale software development projects
• Basic understanding of backend technologies such as Python, Node.js
• Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance standards
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Karma, Jest, Enzyme) and automated testing methodologies
• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
