Frontend Engineer, Product

Summary

Join Zora's Trade team as a Front-End Engineer to build and enhance core trading experiences for a high-volume on-chain social network. You will collaborate with the team, develop and maintain user interfaces, communicate updates, respond to incidents, and participate in code reviews. This role requires 3+ years of engineering experience, a strong technical background in building user-facing applications, familiarity with crypto concepts, and excellent communication and prioritization skills. The ideal candidate will have React Native experience, comfort working across the tech stack, experience in high-ambiguity startup environments, and strong product intuition. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an engineer
• Strong technical background building user-facing applications at scale
• Familiarity with crypto concepts like swaps, routing, slippage, gas, wallets, and DeFi protocols
• Good communication and prioritization skills
• EU or U.S. (ET) time zone

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to build and iterate on new trading-related features in the product
• Develop and maintain performant, scalable user interfaces across mobile and web
• Communicate status, updates, blockers, etc., to cross-functional stakeholders
• Respond to incidents as part of an on-call rotation
• Participate in RFC and code review

Preferred Qualifications

• React Native experience
• Comfort moving across the stack when needed (Python and Solidity)
• Experience operating within high-ambiguity startup environments
• Good product intuition and understanding of user needs
