Summary

Join Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc.'s AI group as a Frontend Software Engineer to design and build intuitive web applications. You will collaborate with a team to develop cloud-based technologies for game development, from concept to publishing. Responsibilities include designing responsive web applications using Svelte, translating product requirements into wireframes and prototypes, developing integrations between Svelte frontends and Python microservices, building AI features into tools, and contributing to testing strategies. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience building web applications with Svelte/SvelteKit or similar frameworks, knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, and experience with NodeJS. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience building web applications, ideally with Svelte/SvelteKit, Vue/Vite, React or similar frontend frameworks
  • Knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, and associated standard methodologies. Familiarity with common Browser APIs and web accessibility standards
  • Experience working with NodeJS to develop and build web applications
  • Experience designing low- to high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes using Figma or similar design tools
  • Comfortable working with UI and CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications using Svelte, with a strong focus on performance and UX
  • Translate product and marketing requirements into high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and user flows using industry standard tools like Figma
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Svelte frontends and Python microservices, including REST APIs
  • Build assistive AI features into user-facing tools through integrations with both third-party and internally-developed REST APIs
  • Write and maintain reusable UI components and frontend libraries to support consistency and scalability across tools
  • Collaborate across disciplines to improve cross-service communication and improve tool usability
  • Contribute to frontend testing strategies (unit, integration, and e2e) to ensure reliable and maintainable codebases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HTML5 game development and frameworks such as Phaser
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure and deployment practices (e.g., working with AWS, Docker, or similar environments)
  • Experience working on internal tools for creative or marketing teams, or familiarity with asset pipelines and content review workflows
  • Familiarity with API-driven development, RESTful service integration, and frontend/backend debugging
  • Interest in AI-powered tooling, such as LLM-based assistants, asset generators, or prompt-based workflows
