Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
  • You have experience in web/mobile development
  • You have experience working with modern agile product development teams
  • You are versed in working with TypeScript and React ecosystem
  • You are familiar working with BFF
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • You have well developed communication skills, you are capable of clearly articulate ideas when communicating to groups
  • Communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams located in several countries with different cultures
  • You need to be able to articulate ideas clearly when speaking to groups in English
  • You're expected to perform management tasks such as mentoring, facilitating and conducting regular one-on-ones with the members of your team, making sure that they are constantly challenged, engaged, and improving their skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop, often in pair programming, parts of the features (expected around 30% to 50% of your time)
  • Account for systems reliability and monitoring, fostering the ownership in the team, keeping the team's SLOs under budget, as well as ensuring the team is on top of our flows’ monitoring
  • Manage technical debts and engineering backlog
  • Set up experiments to test improvements
  • Ensure successful deliveries, and promote the long-term technical health of our journeys
  • Ensure a high bar on code quality standards, making sure devs are proud of their work
  • Work in a collaborative and agile environment that prioritizes people over process and is laser-focused on productivity
  • Take part in incident resolution and troubleshooting in production
  • Help the engineering team grow on their career
